I decided to post this short cartoon i made back in 2003....i was at the university at that time..i didn t have a scanner nor a computer...so i started to animate it without pencil testing...it took me one year to finish it...when i got all the stuff to edit it i was so thrilled cause it was the first time i could see one of my animations being alive on a screen..^__^I'm sorry for the quality...i should re-scan all the drawings but i dont really have time and they're more than 1,500
...maybe i will in the future...i've already 'clean' the scenes with Daphne's bird which you can see in my gallery...The story is about the myth of Apollo and Daphne (a lil' changed in kinda romantic way
) and of course i was influenced by the style of Disney's Hercules...i really hope you all like it and leave your comments
(which i love..).I hope to be able to post a better quality version very soon even though im now focused on my new cartoon
...well about this i had the honour to have the help of a very well known person here on DA

This is completely amazing. I'm really impressed and it really looks like a lot of work. Everything looks beautiful and the transformation was simply amazing.

I'm shocked with this piece of animation, as a person who wants to be an animator, i'm impressed with the well timing, the backgrounds and the amazing form that you moved the whole story.
I know that it wasa lot of time that it deserves, and you did so well with this, I wish I can see it in full color, but just with this I'm amazed!

That's amazing, it's extremely reminiscent of both Disney's Hercules and Fantasia. Must have taken so much effort...

WOW! As an animator myself, I have got to say that this is an incredible piece, and I must say as probably many did, it would be awesome to see it colored and finished. I will feature this piece in my journal hoping more people will see it and agree with me.
The timing is great, and the bgs to! The characters I like, although she changes a bif on her transformation... I mean in the lake scene she has wavy hair but while she is transforming her hair looks almost straight...
He on the other hand keeps the design all the time, which shows a lot of work!
I admire you now even more!

grazie mille....beh ho cominciato dallo storyboard,poi i modelli,i fondali e poi le animazioni...quest'ultime le 'testavo' allo specchio facendo scorrere i disegni per vedere se le animazioni erano convincenti

Non so da dove cominciare...
Ti diro' che sono rimasto stupito ed affascinato allo stesso modo dalla tua straordinaria pazienza, passione ed incrollabile tenacia.
So cosa vuol dire realizzare un' animazione come questa e per di piu' con un livello qualitativo che non puo' essere definito da nessuno amatoriale.
Riesci a tenere i personaggi a registro con proporzioni ed espressioni corrette, a mantenere fluida la regia con inquadrature ricercate.
Mi fermo qui ma ti faccio ancora i miei complimenti.

L'animazione Γ¨ scorrevole e delicata, e nn preoccuparti per il disturbo dell'animazione: non ho mai guardato la qualitΓ ma il contenuto.
Mi Γ¨ piaciuto molto il volo dell'uccello, e il momento in cui la ragazza si trasforma in un albero.
I disegni sono sempre molto curati nei dettagli, per non parlare delle espressioni dei personaggi che sono sempre particolari e adattissime.
Tu sei davvero un talento *-*
