I decided to post this short cartoon i made back in 2003....i was at the university at that time..i didn t have a scanner nor a computer...so i started to animate it without pencil testing...it took me one year to finish it...when i got all the stuff to edit it i was so thrilled cause it was the first time i could see one of my animations being alive on a screen..^__^I'm sorry for the quality...i should re-scan all the drawings but i dont really have time and they're more than 1,500
...maybe i will in the future...i've already 'clean' the scenes with Daphne's bird which you can see in my gallery...The story is about the myth of Apollo and Daphne (a lil' changed in kinda romantic way
) and of course i was influenced by the style of Disney's Hercules...i really hope you all like it and leave your comments
(which i love..).I hope to be able to post a better quality version very soon even though im now focused on my new cartoon
...well about this i had the honour to have the help of a very well known person here on DA

GASPITH! Ohβ¦myβ¦goshβ¦ there is no one word that could ever possible describe how absolutely fantastic this is. Expressions, detail, posesβ¦everything flows so well.
After a while would think Iβd become used to thisβ¦golly, you never cease to amaze me with your lovely work. Donβt worry about the quality! Itβs more than fine! And goodness, thatβs a lot of frames.
Their expressions are wonderful, and not just their faces, you can see it presented in the way they carry them selves. How they walk, moveβ¦everything!
A few questions about the movie you are currently working on; is it going to be coloured? And are there going to be voices?

thank you very much,my sweet friend...i do appreciate it...your comments are always kind and so very welcome!!!!Well..my next cartoon will be coloured and with music...there wont be voices cause the story doesnt need them!!It will be very short though cause you know its a lot of work to get trough the whole process...but fortunately i'll have a very dear friend of mine to help me in colouring and backgrounding....so, i really cant wait to start

This looks gorgeous! I especially love Daphne's hair when she transforms and the flight of the bird. And I could definitely see the Hercules influence. ^_^ Seeing this made me smile - good luck with your current project!

Beautiful. The composition of the layouts is done very well; nothing is completely centered and you lead the eye where it needs to be. The animation of Daphne transforming was gorgeous. The only thing that really bothered me was the limited animation on Apollo during one of the scenes where he was just walking. There was a held cell on his chest. and it just seemed unnatural that his torso wasn't moving at all. But I'm sure that was jut a time constraint. I applaud you!

It only lacks color to look like a professionnal production. Sound doesn't even seem necessary to achieve that...
