EDIT 2010 ....made the colors brighter and fixed Ariel's mouth...i like this version better!Another TLM fanart....another great moment in the movie...Ariel looks so sweet and already helplessly in love with Eric....It was sooo damn hard to draw Ariel's face this time because of the perspective but i hope you really will enjoy this one
I don't know if there are other TLM fanarts soon 'cause im working on other projects...anyway who knows?Stay tuned to find out

This piece captures the mood of this scene perfectly. The perspective which has been used further reinforces the emotions that Ariel feels for Eric. The colouring on this art work fits perfectly with the traditional Disney style of the 80s with a watercolour feeling back drop and the bold uncomplicated shading which adds the perfect amount of depth to the piece. The only small thing which is only apparent on closer inspection is the slight blur to the eyes (iris and pupil). It just needs to be sharpened just a little so it is in keeping with the sharpness of the rest of her face.
Final verdict: A very beautiful piece, which looks as though it is a cell straight from the film. Any Disney fan would love to own a copy of this artwork!

No problem I thought it deserved some extra attention as it is such a lovely piece. The eyes is only a very slight minor minor thing which I don't think it detracts at all from the piece! Was very hard to find anything to be critical about at all! Love the new piece you posted up with the 3 princesses in absolutely gorgeous!
