Description
A piece I did of my friend's Argonian character a little bit ago! My gallery is looking a little dull with all of the reference sheets (especially since I did another one, lol), so I figured I'd upload this to break up the monotony a little bit.

I don't draw reptile characters super often (at least not anymore), and when I do they're usually rather simplistic, and I don't draw details like each individual scale... But not this time! Aside from the lighting, the scales easily took the longest to do on this piece. I think it came out nicely though, as did the lighting and water (I'm actually quite proud of how the water looks). The only things I'm disappointed about is that I struggled to get certain areas of the body not submerged in water (like the arms and tail) to look wet, like they were just in the water. I tried pretty hard to get that effect, but I don't think I really achieved it. I also feel that the hands are a bit difficult to make out because of all of the tiny details in the scales, so I'm a bit bothered by this as well.

Overall though, I like how this one came out!
