This is gorgeous. I haven't played Final Fantasy XIV myself, but you've encapsulated the art and beauty that the series is known for. There is so much eye candy in this, be it the vibrant colors contrasting the dark backgrounds, the intricate flower, or the solemness of the subject's face. I feel that this piece is layered in symbolism for the game that I do not yet know of. It seems to have a feeling of art nouveau, and watercolor, but put together well.
I will not have much to offer as far as critique on this, but I will say what I can. The shading around his leg bothers me, in that the darkness of the cloak he is wearing seems to be spilling onto the lightness of his leg. Given how the watercolor on this seems to blend seamlessly, this, by contrast, has the appearance of one color seeping into another.
