Description
Client: Creative MEDIA & ART / Citrus MediaResult of a face painting tutorial, done for the Australian Photoshop Projects Magazine, issue 3. Thanks to Ewa Samulska for the publication!
The magazine is available both in Australia and New Zealand, if you want to buy it.
As for the painting itself, I used my own face as reference (with the help of a mirror) and also flipped through some fashion magazines for hairstyle and makeup inspiration.

By the way, I'll probably contribute with articles for future issues -- Ewa, the editor, kindly invited me again. Would be great if you, please, tell me what would be interesting and helpful to read, in your opinion. I mean -- a tutorial about color blending? Hair? Clothes?

Personally i think a tutorial about colour blending would be fantastic or general colours and shading. Any thing for me would be beneficial I need all the help i can get. Even on things I think I know reading tutorials teaches new things

I think your ideas are awesome, especially the color blending one. I always had problems with that, back when I was learning digital painting -- it was a pain in the neck for me.
I'll probably write about that and, then, about shading and such -- that will also give me enough material to work with. ;)

Eu utilizo referência em todos os meus trabalhos -- não para tudo, mas principalmente para o rosto, mãos e pés, a não ser que seja um desenho mais "solto", como os publicados no meu blog . Às vezes uso fotos mas, desta vez, utilizei um modelo vivo: meu rosto refletido no espelho -- apesar de que não sou nem um pouco parecida com o desenho, haha!
Também folheei algumas revistas de moda para me inspirar com cortes de cabelo + maquiagem. ;)
