I might do a little more with his face later... but for now I'm happy enough with it to upload it! First picture since I started back at school.
His name is Suhail, and I'm still in the process of writing a back story.
.. I was lazy, and didn't draw any sort of holster to tie the blade to his belt. >.> I noticed it even at the lineart stage, but I just didn't feel like fixing it. So its just going to float there magically. MAGIC.

XD I figured people wouldn't if I didn't mention it, but I feel guilty when I post something I know has an error, and don't bother to fix it.
I'm not sure if majestic is the word, but I like his face too. It's hard without being mean.. and I'm not entirely talented with varied expressions, so I have to pat myself on the back. *pats self* Granted I think the actually painting of his face needs to be fixed up.. like his nose and mouth could be a little higher on his face.. that kind of thing.
It makes me happy Idem is so loved.
We really need to do a medieval RP together at some point. ^^

Are you taking any sort of art class? You wouldn't believe how helpful even the basic classes can be. And then you can tell the teacher what specifically you're working on, and they'll give you pointers, and what-have-you.
