Again, I'm not a fan of anthro (at all) but when I first noticed this piece, I didn't even imagine it was one. So terrific work!
The scenario is cute, and the composition is nice, perhaps add a little more space to the left, allowing the bird to breathe.
Everything seems to be working here, just some minor nitpicks. I think the water looks too stiff, you could add some more ripples to liven it up. The shadow of the boat has bizarre shading effect going on (though that may be the type of boat you wanted).
The fox's tail (I think) would have been better handled if you had painted it rather than use the smudge tool but that's purely a personal opinion.
Other than that, I think you have a great piece here. You should be very proud!

Let me start by telling you that even if I'm not into anthro art I really like this work. You've done a really awesome work painting the fox, I really love the way you made the tail, it gives an idea of the furr, as for the hat, that one gives a human touch to the fox, which is perfect for anthro art! The bird looks cute and terrible at the same time, it sorts of reminds of Tweety, so innocent looking, yet I have the impression that it'll soon show up how evil it can be.
Great work with the background, The sky is really well made, it really looks like the sky at sunset, with the pink/yellow/orange colours in it. As for the water, I can only say that I'm impressed by the way you created the reflection of the boat! Well made, you should think about making this available as a print, cause I'm sure it'd look awesome printed.
