this is a very peaceful picture. This just showcases the beauty of God's creation. There is something timeless about the sea, it is constant and yet ever changing, it can be wild and dangerous or calm and serene. To me this photo captures one moment as if we could just step back to the first morning we saw the ocean and our feet touched the sea. It was that moment where we could sense that we were small and insiginificant, yet we took that step to go beyond and touch this great thing. To me it could symbolise man's need to contact and be in a relationship with God. God is there, he is powerful and yet he is merciful. He loves his people like a father, and defends his people like a King, he is the judge of all that has gone and all that will be. Like the sea we are powerless to stop his will, but if we take the step of faith to trust in God, we will find ourselves taken to places we have never been before. It won't be safe, but it won't be boring either.

So yeah your photo just reminded me of that first step of faith. The morning we decided to believe and reach out to take the hand of God.
