There 's no stamp with Chrome > Firefox? XD

Maybe I will make one someday, because I like Chrome much more than Firefox.

Firefox > IE >= Chrome
1. Firefox is free
2. Firefox is WAY faster
3. Firefox is completely customizable
IE9 crashes computers, and google chrome is just laggy shit, it's just a sad attempt by google(Bing FTW, google is a blank white page) to make a web browser.

I made this stamp a long time ago, and now I don't give two shits about Firefox.
1. Mozilla being a FOSS organization is good as I promote free software, but their updates are few and far between.
2. Firefox is noticeably slow.
3. Is all that customization necessary?
Firefox is constantly lagging behind Webkit browsers in terms of CSS standards and Javascript renderings. Google Chrome has continued to pave the way of the web by being the early adopters of innovative technologies such as WebP, WebM, GPU Hardware Acceleration, and Separate Processes.
Not to mention their flawed extension system. While Firefox extensions can be a little more advanced and integrated than Google Chrome, such power makes the whole browser slow and the smallest update will screw the addon until the developer fixes it. And after all this time you STILL need to restart after installing an addon. None of that mess comes with Chrome.
Plus their UI is still cluttered, but it has come a long way. The updates in Firefox 6 and 7 planned look nice but Firefox is just bringing too little too late. Some say Firefox is still for power users but now Chrome gets things done quicker, better, and much more smoothly.
The only positive thing I have to say about Firefox really is that at least it comes in 2nd (in my opinion).

The customization is pretty necessarily... at least to me anyways. I like a feeling of this is MY individualized setup.
I have used all 3, and Firefox runs the fastest by far for me. as for being too cluttered, I like all my controls all in one tight area.

To each their own. How good are your specs?
My Firefox is trimmed up like IE9 and only has web developer addons.

I got a 6 core. 8 GB RAM, 2 TB HD, and ATI Radeon HD 5570 graphics card. All running on a 64 bit HP Win 7 Home Premium. The processor is a AMD Phenom II X6 1045T Processor 2.70 GHz.

Thanks, the final bill was just over 1k at sheets. It gives me plenty of room to run a shitload of apps in background and customize the full visual appearance like crazy with no performance issues. Plus it makes render times WAY faster. so yeah... I choose my internet browser on what responds best with my PC, and is the most customizable... IE9 believe it or not, crashes my computer several times so I use Firefox, it seems to run the best for me.

My system has probably 2/3 those specs and IE9 runs fine (thought I don't do much on it)

idk... IE9 for whatever reason constantly crashed it... started to piss me off, so I tried Firefox, and have loved it since.

Internet explorer won't even load certain things and I've noted it to be horribly slow if it does. Firefox for the win.

Opera? It's still riding the web like its 2007. The people who develop it shouldn't fall into the same fate as Internet Explorer.

LordMart In reply to Nironan12 [2010-05-27 19:37:55 +0000 UTC]
Did you got the new version at least? It's nothing like Internet explorer, and a whole lot better than FireFox.
Opera's quicker and more simple to use. Firefox's only good if you need proxies. But then again, proxies can be found anywhere.

In my opinion, Chrome beats all because it is pretty much the fastest in almost everything, and along with Safari, is the ONLY browser with full HTML5 and CSS3 support.

B-b-but Opera doesn't have 10000+ add-ons like Firefox does.

Useless add-ons that slows everything down? Nope, don't have those.

Nironan12 In reply to LordMart [2010-05-27 22:38:12 +0000 UTC]
How can you possibly use the internet without the aid of add-ons
Well, at least Opera supports userscripts and userstyles.

MaryStrawberries In reply to Nironan12 [2010-07-30 01:08:46 +0000 UTC]
I do. Used firefox for several years; not a single add-on. wtf are they and how necessary could they really be? I haven't missed them.

Nironan12 In reply to MaryStrawberries [2010-07-30 13:35:29 +0000 UTC]
Firefox is a browser for power-users. If you don't use add-ons, you should definitely use Google Chrome. It's a lot snappier, and supports more HTML5 and CSS3.

Not in mine~
Hint: I do not wish to be converted to a different browser any more than I wish to be converted into a religion, okay? It's great that it's all great and stuff, but... no.
