You know what I hate? I hate it when people white-wash Isabela in fan art of her. She's a foxy dark-skinned broad. People from Rivain have dark skin. It's part of the lore. What's your problem, people? Why do you feel the need to upload mods that make her a pasty blonde waif?

YEAH. There was a really nice-looking digital work of her I came across the other day. That is, it was a nice-LOOKING drawing in the general sense. It didn't look like Isabela because they had drawn her with peachy skin and a slim bust and thighs and jdfjgdfjgnityaaafds

What I mean is...I understand artistic license, but I don't understand a consistently repeated GLARING DIFFERENCE between what these artists are implying that they see when they look at Isabela in-game, and what I KNOW they are actually seeing. The distorted body proportions I mentioned aren't consistent, but it seems like 50% of the people doing fan art of her right now are trying desperately to convince their audience, or perhaps just themselves, that Isabela's skin is not brown. And for absolutely no reason. At least no GOOD reasons, or ones that don't come with a whole string of unfortunate implications.
