Oh, yeah, Artabstraction's right, the thumb is a bit awkward. Maybe a bit small too. The way you draw lines makes it pretty unnoticeable though. Hashtag just realized that's a guy whoops.

Awww, he's so cute! I love the colors you've used, and his expression is adorable... His eyes are really well done as well. I will say though that his thumb is oddly placed. At that angle, your thumb would jut out more where it met your palm... Just mentioning it because it seemed at odds with the rest of the drawing.

Nah, how're you supposed to get better except with practice!? I just thought I'd mention it because sometimes I know something's off in one of my drawings I just can't pin it down.
