I'm still in denial that they are dead and hoping that they are indeed somehow alive with Mabui taking a gamble and transporting all of 'em somewhere safe... But... This is a most definitely for the win, scenario! Very, very nice!

I practically cried over this part. I honestly do hope they stay dead, because, like you said in the other comments, it could bring Shika and Ino closer together. And they are one of my favourite pairing.

I don't want to sound like a monster, but I hope they actually stay dead. Too many series are unwilling to kill characters for fear of fan reprisal or something. Their deaths, especially the Ino-Shika parents, could be powerful moments of tragedy that add depth and emotion to the story. Or Kishi could cop out and have them escape somehow.

It would be a bit to obvious if he did decide to off him.
But something tells me he'll do something like he did in the pein arc and revive everyone that was killed
He hasn't killed any important people that isn't deemed important to naruto or can influence Naruto in anyway because of their death.
but If he leaves them dead. It would be a nice touch.
And being a Shikaino shipper I think this tragedy would bring shika and ino closer. Also causing Shika and Ino to follow in their father's footsteps and take their places.

Well, I sincerely believe that ShikaIno is WAY better than ChoIno. Although if they keep him thin, then MAYBE... I also like SaiIno...

I think Sasuke is going to show up in the last minute with his special jutsu thing and do a KO on Madara while Naruto Takes down Obito.
Yah I think they'll put Ino with Choji if he's still skinny. Or Else she'll be with Shika.
I don't really fancy SaiIno much, but I do like SaiSaku if SasuSaku doesn't happen.
As for Naruto finding out that Karin is an Uzumaki, he might ask her more about the Uzumaki clan and where to find others within it. Since they stated that They've spread out within the ninja countries and no longer have a nation of their own. I bet there are a lot of Uzumaki clans men around since they have a longer life span than anyone else.

Slim ChojixIno is my way of improvising with ChoIno fans. For one, he looks more handsome that way. No homo. And two, with fat Choji, it's just TOO OOC for me...

I don't think he'd invite her to live with him, he'll befriend her, yes. She'll probably begin living in Konoha though seeing as she has no other place to go, because there will be Sasusaku *that is if Sasuke doesn't die* So she won't be fonding over him anytime soon. Maybe Fonding over Sai? like how Ino did?
She might even become a medical nin like Sakura since Karin uses her body to heal people.
