Description Well. Maybe I'm going too fast. Maybe I should make more humble robot figures before making two of them kissing. But when I made this sketches I felt bad putting them in a drawer. So I scanned them, and here is one of them.

The original drawing is a 5x5cm sketch xD. I painted it, and the just painted result is in my scrapbook. And it's much darker and uglier. A filter and a texture made this more interesting, and increases the metallic feeling.

The texture used is [link] by ~DH-Textures

I know I still have a loooong way until I develop a decent robot of some kind. Specially the heads. I like how the elbows and knees and all that work by now, but I want to get rid of this look as soon as I can. They look like a mixture between robocop and Gort, and I like Gort, but it's design doesn't fit my favorite robot design category.

By the way, both robots are genderless. Or masculine, if you prefer. I won't be drawing "femenine robots" any time soon, mostly because i believe that robots with breasts are silly.

i like the tenderness in the image. have you looked at sorayama's work some of its a bit erotic, but his gynoids might be worth a look.

it's very interesting how merely making the left robot shorter, using a different angle to mask any width of the shoulders, and having it in the embrace makes it seem entirely feminine. Cultural assumptions are doing all the work for you

On second thought, that's actually something good. I drew identical robots, but if by those means you mentioned a femenine robot can be seen, it's not bad. It shows how a femenine robot can be portrayed without obvious sexual features.

yeah I really think it is, you've used very very subtle elements to create the impression you want rather than resorting to obvious physical representations.

I think it's possible to draw feminine robot without breasts. I think the femininity would have to be in there posture. Maybe smaller arms, wider hips something like that, lighter shinier colours.

I really like this. I love the colours. I love the tenderness which contrasts against the obvious non softness of these creatures.
It is a lovely piece of art.

I like this concept alot, you did a great job on those robots, but I have to admit the texture background ruins it for me.. It kinda reminds me of those bad backdrops they use for school photographs. Something about robots and school photography clashes?
