Synthetic life in a huge storm of energy!! I honestly have never seen such attention to detail, a scene so powerful and magestic, with that touch of the unkown.
Of course my eyes are just thrown to that fireball, so massive and enveloping, the confusion behind it, all the sparks, the fusion, so much to take in. I really like how there seems to be a red "haze" floating about on top, very soft almost like a thin fog layer, just casting about.
So much to say about this, one that it is just extraordinary!
Very impressive work.

ok, first of all I have to admit that when I saw this as a thumbnail I wasn't too impressed. but that's just a thumbnail because after full viewing I was like this is bloody amazing work from you!! I think it's now my favourite from you to date. why? because it's so different and there is such a focal point in this. that being the energy ball thingy. such a great concept and nicely done. awesome colours as well - they really give it that energized look. excellent 2d work as always and great rendering. there isn't a thing I don't like about it

this is gorgeous. a really magnificent render and a great concept (no matter how many people have made spiderman-geared comments). i'm floored by the contrasts and the details that are in this piece. the composition is wonderful as well. i really like how all of this busy writing is around the focal point, and its rather cluttered and the closer you get to the "iris" as i am dubbing it, it gets burnt away to a pure light-source. fantastic fantastic fantastic is all i have to say. its my new background. thank you kindly.

don't lilke how the edges are so darka nd u can see just siggly lines of airbrush..
and i don't like how some of the lights look like they are just floating...took me a minute to look over and over, to see that they arn't.

Wow, really new-creative! (All around i see ordinary abstract pieces, But you'll allways make it!)
SICK details, like those 'Claws' around the fireball. Also VERY nice 2d.
Don't you get inspired from somewhere? or do theese motions just pop up in ya head?
(sorry to ask you....... but how long did the piece take you 2 make?)

i dont know perhaps you will agree with me
but i seem to like this depth of field that you have going on
not everything is flat..
but some of the back tech designs are blurred.. and softened.. kind of making it look even more 3d.. kind of making it look even more real.. i really really like it.

This is intense. I can almost feel the heat radiating from this image. Very detailed to the point of obsession, and I love it. I love how organic and crazy the orb looks in comparison to the orderly, mechanical world swirling around it.

I know exactly what this reminds me of! It reminds me of the frozen flame from Chrono Cross. Have you ever played that game? Cuz this looks very much like in Chronopolis where the FATE computer system was holding the Frozen Flame.
And this also looks like a piece of the sun was stolen and was being tested, maybe for what it's really made of. Does anyone really have any proof of exactly what that big ball of light is made of anyways? I don't think they do, simply because they can't get there. So if you think that this is a peice of the sun, a whole pile of idea's pop into mind. Very cool!

niteangel In reply to raizu [2004-07-02 00:46:38 +0000 UTC]
Thanks for the comment, and I didn't play that game before.
The lighting requires a lot of airbrushing and I think you need to try that with a lot of practice. It can't just be rendered.

raizu In reply to niteangel [2004-07-02 03:55:35 +0000 UTC]
Everything takes practice, no one can escape that XD No one can really just 'get there' to the good stuffs by snapping their fingers. If you want something good you have to work for it, the more the better, right? Practicing is a form of work so, ya XD I think you know where I'm going with that =^^=
And btw if you ever get the chance you should play that game! It's really good and will probably inspire you at least a little bit. Inspired me, I keep trying to doodle the white and blue dragons cuz they're so pretty

this is an intense piece.
so many things converging for a truly breathtaking composition.
the color scheme does provoke a boiling, energizing up feeling, even as much so as the obvious motion from the fireball. you can feel the heat from it as well, given the warm reds and yellows.
the blurring provides excellent depth, and was masterfully done - authentic like a camera at large aperature.
i like also that there is a notion of an impressed wall, maybe curved by the amount of energy coming off the ball? anyhow, its there when you look, an adds a great sense of detail to the image.
overall sharp and wonderfully textured. perhaps the reactant stamp is a bit more lighted that it should be - that is if it is supposed to be on the back wall of texture...if it is supposed to be on top, then it is a-ok.
wonderful job with this image.

The attention to detail is amazing. The fireball came out really well and gives a nice colour range to work with. Hmmm ... attention to detail makes me moist ! (guess that makes me some kind of sicko
