The fireball is massive, Loving the details around and in the fireball, also the render that creates the 'fireball' is really cool, slick work really slick work.

You know, it takes 8 minutes to render the Sun, and the sun is huge -your computer must be very slow.

What the fuck are you trying to say? I have no idea. I cannot see your logic.
And after all what is the 8 minutes to do with my image? You have commented in the wrong place.

hopefullylost In reply to niteangel [2004-07-01 16:22:03 +0000 UTC]
It was an intentionally rediculous comment. Light from the sun (an actual fireball releasing gamma particles etc.) takes 8 minutes to arrive at Earth, blah blah, high school science stuff. Related that to your 7hr fireball rendering... peice of
There was no need to get agressive about it, I mean who cares what my comment says? ...There really was no need

You didn't even explain it with all the details and this is just nonsense without any elaboration. You left me a comment and surely I have to care. It is for me. If you are leaving something that you think no one cares, leave it on your page. I want to know YOUR thoughts, and so I will take your words very seriously.
Indeed.
Thanks for the explaining But I can't get it still. What is the sun to do with reactant huh?

OMG GOD THAT THE BEST
The render is very very good, but why did u render the fireball wouldn't be easyer to make it in ps ? But still the fire ball look very cool and a bit realistic. The back ground and the 2d is hot. I havent found a single error, ur good !
At the top left it seems have brushed a bit with a brownish color thats the only lesser part it seems that it doesnt belong there stil i had to look at this piece vor 15 minutes to discover it sooo u can hardly see it.
VERY VERY GOOD JOB
exactly what part did u made in bryce ?

hoooooly craaap. this is like... super.. super ging.
really goodcolours used to show like.. those black and yellow warning signs and stuff
and then theres the faint blurred 2d in the background..
:fave:
even though the 3d looks simple, you used it to great effect with the fireball in the middle..
great work.

Now just have it start looping out and sucking in bits of New York City, Doc Ock and Spidey battling in the background... ;}
Seriously though, really good - I like the little arcs connecting the ball and the arms...any chance of more detail in the arms? Something about them looks a little sparse.

I dunno man. The 2d looks sweet as always, but I'd say this is far from your best work. the lighting on the rendered arms or whatever they are is dead-perfect. The fireball in the middle looks good, but something is still lacking from it, can't put my finger on it.
As art: 9 out of 10
As art from you: 3 out of 10

don't get me wrong, its still an incredible piece of work.
The renders and composition kick the ass of anything I can do, but I've definitely seen much better from you.
just my opinion, though.
