Wow, not bad for no reference! Lol I usually go with no reference too but mine come out with way worse anatomy than yours. =.=;; So good job with this.

If you cover up her left eye (our right) it looks excellent. So obviously one major problem is her left eye, which is a little 2 big and not aligned with her right eye. Also you may want to put some shadow under her lips to accentuate the lips' shape and the definition of the chin.

She also looks quite European, but maybe that's what you were going for.

Haha lol you'd be surprised how easy it is to cover up an eye. Lift finger, put to screen, tadaa!

OK- here goes something...

Eye- You did an ok job on them- they're definitely alot smaller than normal anime eyes which is good, but the right eye (her left)- it's slightly larger than the other which is something that'll throw off the rest of her face since we identify with the eyes first. Everything after the eyes being level and the correct size is artistic liscence. They're also a little close together, making her look a little bug eyed (That one is difficult to see at this angle I'd have to show you what I mean T.T )

Nose- the length of a nose for a realism face is 1 eye width from the dip in the nose down to the tip. Yours is a little longer- could be fashionable if done on a man, but n women, shorter noses tend to be nicer. Her nose is also centrally positioned, which throws her face off cause she's on a slightly 3/4 angle.

Mouth- her mouth is pretty much correct for the angle the face is on XD I think when the nose is corrected, you see it needs to move to our left a little, but other than that it's fine ^^

Face shading- Now this is where the real magic begins. You've given her some high end cheek bones for the lighting she's in. [link] This picture shows a girl with similarly lit cheeks- notice how she's smiling in the picture? that'll throw the face off too since its right beside the area you're questioning.

That I think is the issue with the nose and mouth area. It's a combo of the whole area since the human mind relates to it so easily. It's very unrelenting with faults. I hope it helps ^^

It's the right eye that's the biggest issue with that. If you get that right then you'll be able to fix it no problem. It's a very good first attempt though! Don't dispair
