Evil but fair, Annatar is lit by the fires of his forge.Drawn at full view size. Scoped out the tengwar from wikipedia, so not taking any credit for that. We all know my handwriting is rubbish anyway.

they'd probably give it the Sandman treatment, do a collection of tpbs for each 'saga bracket'. like a run on the Feanorians and the war of rage, then a separate run for post-sundering material.. etc.

Annatar is what the elves called Sauron before the fall of Eregion. The name is based on the quenya words: anna "gift" and tar "lord" - meaning "lord of gifts"
this was around the same time that the rings of power were forged by Celebrimbor and the mirdain under his tutelage, and the one ring was forged by Sauron (depicted here)
