Another beautiful photo I love how you caught such detail on it's face. Where did you take this? What kind of camera do you have?
I find that Fennec foxes are particularly difficult to capture, as they are so quick!

DC Zoo Small Mammals House.
I was using my D7100 DSLR with a FX NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6 lens.
Shutter Speed [1/80 second]
Aperture [F/5.6]
Focal Length [230 mm]
ISO Speed [1000]
Usually these indoor locations don't have too much light and have the animals behind thick glass, so I wanted to be further from the glass as to not be disturbed by the people going by. To address the issue with the light I had to turn up my ISO to 1000 even though I usually stick to under 800. For focus I used a central point of focus with a single focus constantly adjusting it to make sure it was correct. The point was right above it's right eyebrow at the edge of the eye so I could get a good contrast line for the auto functions of the focus. Why that shutter speed? Well, I generally think I'm pretty good at hand holding so I use slower speeds sometimes. I would have been more comfortable on a tripod though. That wasn't possible with people around trying to go about their business.
As for the quickness of fennecs: I had to be very very patient and shot for about 3 hours before I was comfortable with what I had. They are mostly nocturnal animals so they were not awake and I wasn't going to wake them. I just waited for them to naturally do their thing.
