The rare #2472 was out of hiding this easter weekend. I couldnt help but take the day off to pay a visit. (Niles Canyon Railway). Sky was blown out so I edited in these clouds. I hope it doesn't look too shopped.

Interesting note: I rode the train shortly after taking this shot with my parents. We sat in the first car, an open air car, directly behind the engine, because my grandma needed space for her wheelchair. On the return trip I decided to sit alone in the Pullman car just behind the open air car. Wow what a difference! The open air car is basically a converted box car whereas the Pullman was designed for passenger comfort and you can really tell. Our trip back to Sunol was much more enjoyable for me
