The fur was painted with a brush i made in cs2 over a flat colour background then in this case i used an orangeΒ photo-filter over the top.

nice work maybe some more highlight to the border of the fur on the ear could enhanced the final result, but here is just my opinion. good work in all case !

The only thing that bothers me is, that the tree looks like a photo manipulation while the panda looks painted. From the stiyle it is not fitting together so well...

it really is a painting there are no photo textures used only textured brushes & cs2 textures.
