Description
This piece was first sketched out lightly on the black board with a .5 Mechanical Pencil then carefully painted over with dish soap using a small soft bristle paint brush. Waited a day or so for the soap to dry. For the coloring medium I used Pastel Stix, & as the final touch I gently used a damp sponge(not too damp as to rub of the Pastel colors!) to rub off the soap lining. For better luster I re-worked the colors of the Pastel to make the picture more vibrant. Questions, comments, crit. welcomed.Related content

This is a most interesting piece, Nicole. The shades, texture and color definitely struck me from the Fractal/Abstract side of things. Nice work!

This was my fav. piece that I had done other than my hands aka: Subtle Magic. I felt so alive & energetic doing this piece. I am definitely gonna do another.

Yeah, really crazy I know. I shall be learning karate soon & going to the ST. James Catholic Church there in town to take my lessons. For the most part I'm there in town every thurs. for the classes, but the next 2 weeks are registration so I may or may not be in town. I am going to try visiting my family there every week if I can. -Nixirhei

Yes, the St. James Catholic Church there in Seguin. It is the one just past the Wells Fargo Bank there in the center of town going back towards the Collusieum(sorry I spelled it wrong).

That would be cool. If ever you'd like to join it is like $50 for 11 classes if I remembered correctly. I love watching the little kids, they are sooo cute & sometimes do & say the darndest things.
