Description
This piece was done with 2 mediums consisting of No.2 Pencile & Water Colors on Matted Water Color Paper. I first sketched out a light grid then lightly sketched out the flowers. Once this was done I started to color in the image with the Water Colors starting with the darkest parts of the piece first. Comments, & crit. welcomed.Related content

Oh dear Shel, I sincerely apologize for the looooooong time that I haven't been on. It depresses me oh soo much. I've had a lot happen since we last spoke. I no longer live w/my boss. Thank you for the complement Shel...means alot. I have to go back & finish darkening the top flower if I can get hold of some water colors

Hi, Nicole--you're back! It's good to hear from you once again and honestly, I was a bit concerned. I hope everything is well with you also and as for me, I'm doing fine. Working a lot of hours these days which detracts from the art world but you gotta do what you gotta do, right? Absolutely. Me too! I am happy to be getting back into action w/my splendid conversations w/you. So far everything is going well. I shall be learning karate very soon. I have already started learning my stance & basic skills...just have to practice more. I'm really excited about it all. Well work is good, better than being bored. Hope your art work is going well. Yeah karate. I am starting to learn sparring, but I have quite a ways to go. I completely understand about the hours thing. Don't burn your self out too much. err....since I'm not pro...so I just give what I feel when I see...1stly from what I learn in art college ...If a piece of art work...you draw it till so real....then why dont you take picture? Right? It just my opinion...dun straight use black colour...try use purple to fill the dark place...maybe it will become more colourful and more attractive...but still~ overall I give you 80% ,can do more well if dun follow the reference and add your own value...
