On closer look,I saw that the figure had ram's horms. The demon apparently, although I may differ that demons should have ram's horns, or cloven feet for that matter.
Now, about the technique etc. That you used reds apparently meant to set off your figure. That it did. I might use more than one color. The wings of the figure are very impressive and attractive. They seem more like butterfly wings. Oh brrrrr! Any demon with bat wings is out of date. Good idea that. The general quality of the work seems rather psychedelic. That is a neat effect. The expression s/he wears too is good.
I will check out the book later.

Very intense red colours and the melancholy look on the demon's face, as well the light towards his centre shows something of repentance. I also love the detail of the demon's skin, as if it is bearing all. Angel's wings are a nice touch as well - faint and intangible so they almost feel delicate.
