Edit 01.02.10: I've had a lovely surprise today - I recieved 3rd place in =Gaaraterra 's competition!

The rainbow is the colour in our grey rainy day. It brings the world to life. It's the small light of hope we find in darkness. It can be our anything and everything, but most of all it keeps us going. That is what we are to you.

Edit: I've been honoured with Honourable Mention in Lily's competition
and since everyone in the "prints" poll mentioned this drawing, I'll be submitting it as a print

I give credit to Harvey !Vassikaan who came up with, basically, this whole idea!
I really wanted to do this in pastel but I'm not really sure why... perhaps I was compelled by the bright coloured pastels that have been sat in my drawer for far too long?
I needed the bright colours so as to make my point stand out in this piece. All that grafitti really draws the attention away T^T
I totally fail at grafitti btw

Media: Soft pastels, HB .5mm mech pencil
Time: 10 hours approx.
