I ve tried to draw a scenery but background is definitely not my forte. Actually I like how the light fells on them, so I learned something after all.It is an important moment of my Kandl-story, when both are sitting at the lake and watching sunset.
The sun sinks behind the mountain and she said: "Thank you for watching this beautiful sunset with me
" He kissed her and suddenly he stands up with her. From this point of view both could see a little bit sun again. He hold her in his arms, smiled and wispers: "Just for you, my heart. Beautiful sunset once again."

This is like something from my dreams! Very pretty! I do photomanipulation for my mermaids to bring them to life. You say background is not your forte, but the emotion is there and you did a very good job of lighting on your lovers! Keep drawing! I would love to see more of your mermaid and her male love!!

It´s great to read, that your dreams are this close to my real experiences. We were sitting at Lake Wörth (Klagenfurt / Austria) watching the sunset... *sigh* it was beautiful.
If you ever come to Austria, you should visit Lake Wörth.

There aren't many great images of this type of lovers, so I give credit when it is most due. As for visiting Austria, I have plans to travel when I am older and with my husband and we have time to see the world. I will have to add Lake Worth to my list.
