Description
A more major effort, this kit had a simple assembly but a more complex paintjob.I did my typical technique of Coloured Acrylic over gray Enamel rubbed off with thinner along the edges, then I went over with a paint-dipped sponge to add chipping and rust. An Orange wash and a very thin White wash finalized the colours.
AK mud pigments mixed with Plaster were dabbed along the tracks and side skirts and then painted to represent mud.
The side skirts and heavily washed-off acrylic over Enamel with successive dry brushes of browns, grays and metallic paints.
The foliage on the front is real, very old lichen (longer fronds making it more branch-like) washed green (it was dead when I got it) and then sprinkled with foam flock.

Wish the photo were of higher quality since here I cant tell if the paintjob is a bit blurry or if it is just painted in a special style or photos fault, but love the camo work and the dirty look to it. Jagdpanzer IV was a good tank killer

It's a bit of all three, really.

Just act casual, pretend you don't notice the howitzer sticking out of that shrub as it slowly rolls towards you...
