People can say what they want about "Crash of the titans, and Mind over mutant" I think they're pretty decent games.
I don't if it's the redesigns; the game play; or the new features.
This is a shot in the dark theory, but I think people would have liked "Crash of the titans", and thought of it as an ok game. If it wasn't for tiny tigers voice.

In my opinion they are both good games, but maybe not as Crash games.
I think redesigns and new gameplay were a shock for the older fans. Crash of the Titans along with Naughty Dog Crash games were part of my childhood. I liked the 2 player mode and better graphics. What I didn't like as much as the other games were the new gameplay and few redesigns like Tiny and Aku Aku, although I love Nina's redesign.
Overall I like it, not my favourite game but still pretty good one.

This is still great fan art! You really captured the emotions of the characters, from the boredom of N.Grin, Nina and Uka Uka's annoyed and angry expressions, but the best one is Cortex's sad and miserable expression, showing how sad and upset he is about being replaced. It just makes me want to hug him!! ;w;
Plus, the glowing effects on the flames, Uka Uka's eyes and bones and Nina's sidekick's eyes; really gives life and atmosphere to the piece.
