Can't wait for the remastered first three games too in the N. Sane Trilogy too. It'll be N. Sane! Our childhood hero returns!!
I watched the remastered version of this scene. Have you watched it? Awesome to watch though! And Tawna has been redesigned and badassified (kicking one lab assistant's butt until she got overwhelmed by the more numbers of lab assistants).

Yes, I saw the remastered version of this scene, It was great! I like how Tawna defends herself. They gave her a stronger personality in remastered ver. and I really like that

Lex Lang really done Cortex's voice so well, especially in redubbing the lines from the original introduction scene, in which he alongside the other VAs did so well with the right pace; in the original, the VAs back then had a rushed pace. We first knew Lex for voicing Cortex humorously in Twinsanity for all of Cortex's embarrassing and funny moments. I can't stop laughing at his funny dialogues!
And I am also glad that the devs decided to, in the remastered first game's bonus rounds for the first time ever, instead of just standing there, Tawna would then be snatched by Cortex, as if he's saying to Crash "You're getting closer on saving her, Crash. But not quite!" Also, by her new redesign rather than being a knockoff of Pamela Anderson in which Universal didn't accept her for being too sexualized, she might become a mainstay character. Probably in 2, she stays with Coco, helping her warning Crash of Cortex's true motives; and in Warped, she either stays at home guarding it with Polar or helps the Bandicoot siblings out. Probably by the end of Crash 1, she might stay with Crash in his home as his live-in partner.
I too agree on the merchandise too. So which of the merchandise are you interested to buy? For me, I'd like to buy mostly the candles and mugs which each look like the TNT, Nitro, and Crash 1UP crates in-game.

I agree, Lex Lang is so talented VA for Dr. Cortex, I love his voice acting in Crash Twinsanity and he redubbed the Crash 1 scene (with that more serious ver. of Cortex) so well.
I hope that we will see Tawna more often in the future, I'm not sure if she will appear in remasters of Crash 2 or 3, (because she wasn't there in original versions) but if there will be a new Crash game in the future I hope to see her then again
I'm a collector so I will probably try to get everything Crash related merchandise sooner or later
