Yeah, Hank was the oldest in the original comic series. Bobby was the youngest and everyone else fell somewhere in between. Are you talking about First Class the movie or the comic series? I think Hank was still the oldest in the First Class comic; but I think comics are intentionally vague about giving away the ages of their heroes. The First Class movie was such a radical departure from the comics that I'm not even sure if I consider any of them to be the same characters.

yeah i was talking about first class. wiki and the previews state that he was the youngest.

and your right. in the first class movie they made him like 90 pounds.

He was a buff, strong teen, but also sweet, sensitive and strong.

the movie was ok(even though i did not see it).

what pissed me off the most was the high departure from the original story.

migtaggard a CIA agent??? she was not even american...

i'll stick with the comics.

p.s. do you think he will be in the next avengers movie? that would be epic. And what draws you to hank? excuse the pun.

Unfortunately, I don't think Beast will ever be in an Avengers movie unless Marvel can get the movie rights to the X-Men back.

One of the things I like the most about Hank is that he was probably one of the most well-rounded and well-adjusted superheroes in the Marvel Universe. He didn't spend all of his time brooding or feeling sorry for himself, he just accepted the hand he had been dealt and made the best of it. Unfortunately, the more recent writers of Beast have pretty much thrown all of those qualities out the window. Also, over the last couple of decades, writers have been focusing so much on Hank McCoy the brilliant scientist, that they have completely sidelined the Beast side of his persona. Most of his superpowers, that were established back in the 1960s, have been removed or completely forgotten. He's just a pale shadow of the character he was.

It's the brash, impulsive, over-confident, youthful Beast from the 1960s that I like and identify with so much. The Beast that emerged back in the 1990s I don't like much at all because he's essentially a completely different character.
