It looks desirable, even though it may potentially be quite hostile to survive there, as indicated by the boat wreck.

if only there was a storm version of this, btw nice shading but i would make the water a bit more with depth. just saying what i imagine water looks like sure it a bit fantasy water.

I think you should look at this work of yours as an example of how not to make oceans and water and skies?Β Β Β Before criticizing his work, try to learn from it, because there is so much to learn from this work of Noah. And also, its definitely not fantasy water as these are shallow waters like in reefs which tend to be more green and tan, not deep blue. So if his intention was to make a long length of shallows, this is what it would look like.Β

I agree with Jacob, that was unsolicited criticism/advice, and he es a far, faaaar more experienced artist. I don't think he needs your criticism or advice.

Sorry, I can barely understand your reply...I know you do not live in an English speaking country, neither do I. But If you will try and communicate trough a different language, try a little harder...

True in a way english not my main so is having a micro keyboard.
Tried to be nice but looks like its time to be offensive. I said what was on my mind not a meant to ne any form of criticizm anyway artist or anyone are not immune to critisims regardless if they are pro or not. So guees my biggest this weeks mistake was commenting here and seeing its same result as baching your head into a wall. Good day sir/madam xD
I took yours and other replies as hostile.

I wouldn't call it fantasy water. I've been to beaches with water that has the same color.Β

His criticism is unsolicited for sure, but obviously there isn't any bad intentions behind it? Also I don't think you need to be a "far superior artist" to make an intelligent remark, sometimes another perspective is enough, so there's no need to try to humiliate him by calling his art "inferior". It was just a polite criticism even if it IS probably ill-advised...

I said what i would do, not what the artist should have done, superior since then better artist are like gods, we all have flaws.
Besides my art was rushed cause effort is a waste of time if youre worthless.
Boi cant have an opinion, no wounder why i call deviantart a massive mad max wasteland xD

Oh you can have an opinion if you want, but be ready for people to criticize your opinion. Your opinion is bad. And i just gave you my opinion about your opinion. See how many other people didn't like you opinion? its probably because its a bad opinion. Which is exactly why i commented and told you you have a bad opinion. Dont get upset and say "oh so now i cant i have an opinion?"Β No you can say what ever you want, but get ready for everyone else to have their own opinion against you. Can we not criticize yourΒ words? Maybe i should take a trip to your art gallery and start giving my opinion of "what i would have done" and what is and isnt real or fantasy style art? I think that would make you feel sad and you would not like that.Β
