Description
A wee demo of a tileset I made for use in an RPG maker game I've been working on a ton. [link]The often revisited idea of a person plunged into the world of their own imagination. Less "Alice in Wonderland" and more "Cool World" though in this particular adventure you'll play the role of none other than yours truly, as you travel to the world of my creativity trying to find the cause of your creative block.
In this game you play the role of an artist plunged into the world of his imagination. Forced to battle strange and fierce beasts of his own creation, using the power of "The Art" which in this world is as strong as powers come.
The game features %90 original artwork by myself, excluding char sets which will be RTP edits and a few particle battle anims that I will be borrowing from another artist.

Sorry for the caps but the artstyle brings out so many nostalgic memories. I looked at your website and the overworld map even looks like my favorite game of all time : Legend of Mana. It is Marvelous. I love it all.

Yeah LOM has some awesome art, this was the furthest I've ever gotten with an RPG maker project, and I had to make myself stop so I could focus on my comic

Yeah i know that feeling aswell, especially coming back and doing it better than before but knowing that if i ditch it, then it will be even better the next time, awful circle to be in though, not very productive, The game im making at the moment is its 3rd version and this time i am finishing it, but god knows ive thought about ditching it!

Looks pretty amazing, I never thought RPG maker could look so neat.
I'm just not crazy about the transition between grass and stone, seems a bit off to me

Glad you dig it amigo, not sure what you mean about the stones though. Is it the perspective or thick outline?

maybe its just me, but its weird that the outline is so different from the one of the other elements
