Description

Got in the craving to make some Diablo artwork from seeing MrGstar321's new play through of the original Diablo. I had been intrigued by the game for quite a long time, but stopped pursuing to play it because back then, I couldn't get it to work in my junkrig of a computer (A 2002 pentium 1 desktop computer I believe). The main showcase here is the Diablo skin applied on the Carno from PC in MMD.
Not gonna lie. My reasons for being hooked to it was primarily due to the title "Diablo" at the time, which coincidently also happened to be my favorite dinosaur god from Primal Rage and I equated the game with every awesome trait offered by the evil devil dinogod. That is what this deviation showcases. To my suprise, the hell levels and character concepts aren't too far off, but then again its become a cliche that everything cool related to hell usually has to be brimstone red and black, and capable of shooting fire balls or releasing streams of them. I had noticed that Matt Frank had based a recent Godzilla comic arc towards a trip in hell. This would have been a golden opportunity to utilize Orochi the eight headed dragon, seeing how he fits that category quite well.
Regardless, after watching two videos from Gstar's Diablo walkthroughs, I feel a deep appreciation for this game. Compared to its sequel, it has a splendid showcase of atmosphere, music and character designs that I feel is quite difficult to replicate in newer titles being released.
