Man, that Smash Ultimate presentation was quite something.
If you're wondering where I've been for the past few months, of course I've been spending all that time in solitude on a lonely mountain-top practicing my art skills.
I'm glad our big bad boi is finally playable.

Since Ridley is playable, do you think you'll be maining him? Β I'm aiming for Peach and Inkling Girl so far.

I've been partially maining Marth for the past 2 games so I'm not sure if that's gonna change.
However, I'm always eager to try out all the characters. I'm really curious about how Ridley and Inkling are gonna play.

I was a Peach main in BrawlΒ (the only Smash game I've played extensively), but I'd occasionally play Marth as well and he was fun. Β I'm quite sure I'll try him out again, although I've heard Ike was massively improved.
As for the other two you've mentioned, I want to see what they're like in the final build. Β So far, people are saying that Inkling is fun to play and a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. Β As one who wants to main Inkling Girl I hope they don't nerf her too much by the final build. Β Ridley on the other hand has been having some trouble from the little I've seen. Β However, this is the first demo of the game and most players don't have the hang for the mechanics just yet, so things are certainly gonna change in the next six months.

I'm not usually into playing heavy characters but Ridley looks really cool. I'm gonna be sure to try him out, especially since he was the character I wanted the most in Smash.

true but we aren't going to have it for ppl that dont have a switch. also it was exciting for have 2 different games with differing features even if wii u got smash tour xd

Personally, I'm kinda glad that the features aren't split between 2 versions anymore. It felt like both versions got the short end of the stick in some way.

yeaa. Wii u had hyrule temple, 8 player smash and really sick graphics (especially on final destination). but you did not get smash run and some 3ds maps. now in smash 5 when you buy the game you get everything they developed.

And let's not forget the biggest thing missing from Smash 3ds - the Home Run contest!
