Description
Continuing with even shorter tip than previous one...That's a useful trick I learned years ago, and still I see people who's designs suffer from this lack of attention to how their text is rendered.

Hope this was useful and will improve your designs... Full-length tutorials are on their way, just hold on a while...

This is to inform you that your art has been featured in a news article. It is called Twenty Under Forty and features 20 deviations with less than 40 faves at the time of writing.

Well, there's actually an automatic way your can always try before doing it with your own hands: try switching Kerning setting in Character palette between 0 / Metrics / Optical. Sometimes that helps, I somehow forgot to mention it in the tutorial .... Actually it helps with fonts that have their metrics embedded properly by the font shop... Which is not the case with most free fonts

Yes, I know about that setting, but - as you've said - it is not perfect solution. And, of cource, it's absolutely not flexible.
Thanx again
