Just after Sarabi found out Mufasa and Simba are dead.
I'd imagine after Scar told them she went off on her own and completely shattered into pieces.
Be gentle. Haven't drawn in a while. Gotta start practicing again.

Poor Sarabi losing both her son and husband in one day. Then having the hyenas taking over, along with Scar becoming the king. She probably did go off to be alone for a while. Yet she kept strong throughout the years until her son made his return.

Wow this is depressing. Very suiting though for such a sad moment. I can only imagine the pain a mother would feel losing her only child and lover
