Description
My character Tatu in a more realistic style.
Just trying to branch away from The Lion King style.
I'm getting tired of it and I don't want to get so tired of it that I don't want to draw it anymore. SO I'm making myself grow in different style types.
This style actually reminds me of a bit. [Though it's nowhere near the level that she's at]I did it more sketchy which is what she does and I love it.
All her pieces are so raw.
Anyways, tell me what you think! <3

I LOVE love love this new style. When I saw it I thought of LordVepar's style, too.
Though her tail looks a bit thick at the base. I am looking forward to seeing your art grow even more! Everytime I look you are improving.
I would suggest studying lion skulls to get a feel of where the indentions in the face are, too. Getting the basic idea of the skeletal structure really helps. Especially if you are working without refs.
Always good not to burn out on a style. x) 's'why I am always altering the way I draw.

Oh yeah I plan to dive into feline anatomy at this point and actually start learning the proper way instead of basing my anatomy skills off of a Disney style. lol
I see a lot of anatomical issue with this piece. Her head's too big, paws are "disney-ish" so I'm going to try to focus on a more realistic feline. We'll see where it goes and I'm hoping this next semester I'll be able to take an art class C:

Yeah, there's a lot to learn about different species and their anatomy, though I have found that it's easier for me to visualize the skeleton and muscles under the skin now if I look at them from studying that area.
And yay for art classes! At least someone enjoys them more than me. x)

The style looks nice! you did some subtle detailing on the muscles and that makes her look more tense and like if she's really using them.
The paws (specially the front ones) are really nice, however, it seems like each of them is at a different pace stage.
I'll just shut up now because you didn't encourage critique D:
I just think is an awesome start to finding a new style! <3 and man, I am loving that front paw ^_^

Lol I have a long way to go with anatomy and all that.
I need to study this type of thing a lot more but I just sorta went for it without a ref which wasn't the smartest idea.
But it's a start -shrugs-
I'll figure it all out eventually C:
And it's been a while.
I don't know if you remember me but I'm xTheJack

Nice But I your back paw looks odd. . . like it looks like it should be on the ground not up in the air . . .
But other than that its epic ^^
