yeah!Β its from these books i read as a kid, representing a "gyre" which is a reference to the William Butler Yeats poem "The Second Coming"
basically in the books, the symbol is the mark of the Gyre Soul, which is souls that live multiple lives!Β I'm considering making it canon that Rick is Roger's second life
