LONG AUTHOR COMMENTS APPROACHING! (after the fanfic extract :3)

(Please, if you knew and appreciated the first version I submitted [link] , I encorauge you to read the author's comments for an explanation )

Shaking, Link muttered something Midna did not understood. The Twili did not know the nature of that poison, and if his delusions were the result of the toxin or the fever. All she could do was stay with him and hope that the fresh water or the potion had some effect on him, but that agitation made no good to him; the poison would take possession of his weakened body. However, there was something she could do to help ... He put a hand on the sweaty forehead of Link, and for a moment, the horror he was feeling hit her like a painful blow. She pushed it back until it vanished; then, she entered carefully into the consciousness of the young boy. She called his name softly, and when he was aware of her presence, she made him see the green fields of Hyrule, she made him smell the sweet fragrance of the hay of his village, the streets filled again with the laughter of children. She showed him the rivers, the forests, the distant mountains that no one had dared to cross before.

"We will save this world, Link ..."

The young man's eyelids stopped shaking. Almost instantly, his chest began to rise and fall more slowly. Midna noticed that the flowing of blood under his skin had become steady and calm.

"I need you by my side ... We will do this together ..."

Before leaving his conscience, Midna felt his body relax. The chosen by the goddesses, the hero who would save the worlds of Light and Twilight, had finally fallen into a deep and restful sleep. Midna, clutching his hand, stood by him all night, waiting.

Agitado, Link murmuraba algo que Midna no entendió. La twili desconocía la naturaleza de aquel veneno, y si sus delirios eran producto de la toxina o de la fiebre. Lo único que podía hacer era permanecer a su lado y esperar que el agua fresca o la poción hicieran efecto, pero aquella agitación iba a hacer que empeorara si el veneno se apoderaba de su organismo. Sin embargo, había algo que podía hacer para ayudarle… Posó una mano sobre la sudorosa frente de Link, y por un instante, el terror que sentía entró en ella como una dolorosa bofetada. Lo hizo retroceder hasta que se desvaneció, y con mucho cuidado, penetró en la conciencia del joven. Le llamó con suavidad, y cuando fue consciente de su presencia, le hizo ver las verdes praderas de Hyrule, le hizo oler la suave fragancia del heno de su pueblo, las calles colmadas de nuevo con las risas de los niños. Le enseñó los ríos, los bosques, las lejanas montañas que nadie se había atrevido a cruzar.

“Vamos a salvar este mundo, Link…”

Los párpados del joven dejaron de agitarse. Casi al instante, su pecho empezó a subir y bajar más lentamente. Midna percibió que el flujo de la sangre bajo su piel se volvía firme y sosegado.

“Te necesito a mi lado… Lo haremos juntos…”

Antes de separarse de su conciencia, Midna notó que su cuerpo se relajaba. El elegido por las diosas, el héroe que habría de salvar los mundos de la Luz y el Crepúsculo, por fin se había sumido en un sueño profundo y reparador. Midna, aferrada a su mano, permaneció a su lado toda la noche, esperando."

Finally finished, for sure, the FINAL version! (related fanfiction included! )

To be sincere, what I wanted to do was to replace the old submission, but after it has undergone such huge changes I finally prefered to submit a new one, as a remake or something like that; specially because the old version had a lot of faves and was frequently asked to be featured in Groups (thanks! ) so replace it would have been rude

For this new version, I fixed Link's hair, added some more lighting and some major changes:

Link's lips now are half-opened; I think it looks better, even more natural and omg he looks sexy that way lol .

I changed Midna's hair and her size; she looked smaller in the old version, this one being more "realisitic" related to Link.

I also worked in the background a little more; those trees are still far away of perfection, but I find them better now

But the hugest change it's in the side as you had noticed. In the first version, Midna's right eye was visible, now it is her left. I also wanted Link to be left-handed

You can see the first version in my gallery. I'm sure there will be people who will like the old one more, as if was the first one and in Groups and that all, that's something I can understand But I hope you notice I've worked a lot in this and I want it to be the "good" one

Know what? A club against LinkxZelda asked me to submit the first version. As I also love that pairing, I didn't feel comfortable and had to decline... I hope they don't feel offended
