Depression is a monstrous thing.It creeps in and sweetly whispers to the darkest, saddest parts of your soul, and you find yourself believing its words.
Most people don't even see your struggle, and the few that do usually stay away because they have their own shit to deal with.
Only the few, the kindest, will actually reach out and ask how you're doing.
It's to these people that I owe my thanks.

Depression is insidious, because it's you talking to yourself.
You know how to hurt yourself best, really.
And, yeah, I've definitely felt alone, too. Your brain saying that you can't do anything right, constantly...
But, there are people in everyone's life that care enough to reach out.
It may not be very many sometimes, but, it's enough.
And I'm glad they were helping you through your own Dark Room.

Yes, depression is an invisible enemy, which slowly creeps up on you. And, it can really bring your world down: and fill it with despair. Everyone suffers from depression, at some point in their lives. And, it is in those darkest times, where you truly find out, who your friends are! It also reinforces, how important family is, when you need love and understanding: and a big hug. To know, that everything is going to be alright, eventually. Never give up: and never surrender, to the stresses of this world. I think you have caught the emotion perfectly, in this Chloe Price picture. It is beautifully drawn: and I love the light and shading, to the tone of her skin. And, I think the eyes, looking from the darkness, is a nice touch!
