This picture is very dear to me. I spent on it an awful lot of time...Again it's drawn using my mouse and photoshop.
So... Professor Snape raised his finger, and said slowly: "Detention, mister Potter!"

Nice! I really like the whole atmosphere and how you make the picture interesting with Snape's gestures--i really like the hand holding the hair back, these little things make the character more candid and thus more beautiful and most art that i stumble on aren't made to be candid. I also like the outline with the inked pen because it is a tool that gives more expression than markers or computer. And those textures and tones give the whole picture an authentic look that i really enjoy.
Yes, Snape could look better or actually different as i am nitpicking on style but i am spoiled by snapesnogger's Snape art so i am rather biased in that aspect.
Anyway, i am also biased to pictures that are dear to their artist, like this is to you for the hard work you put into it, because i have images in my head that if i could put down on paper, would be dear to me too, only that i hadn't. So, there is a bit of my aspiration at play in liking this pic too.

It's the just the kind of expression I would expect from Snape, too--like he's really annoyed with Potter but simply doesn't have the energy to lose his temper in public. Perhaps he's preoccupied with something (someone?) else. Or maybe a long night with the inner circle? *grin*
