Description
This is based on a scene from the new Sherlock Holmes movie. I've changed a few of the background details and, more obviously, given Holmes his violin to mess with rather than the boring old bow he originally had. This was done in photoshop with the tablet. No paper or ink necessary, though my friends are wishing I did draw it the old-fashioned way because they're starting to call dibs on the original. Only there isn't one. This was done because Mimi said she either wanted a Watson bookmark or this. The bookmark would have been easier but I couldn't find any awesome quotes from Watson in the books.

GAH. I haven't read the books because I have a feeling that I won't like a sane, prim-and-proper Holmes.
But I love him and the violin in the movie. Love love love.

I don't know. Holmes didn't seem very prim and proper in the book I read. Kind of like an eccentric, awkward scientist. I loved both the movie AND the book, but I only read one, the Sign of the Four, sooo...

LOOVE this picture. Looks like it came straight from a Sherlock Book!

brilliant! I totally envy anyone who is able to get these two down on paper (or canvas anyway). I can see 'em so clearly in my head, yet can never capture them. fortunately lovely people like you do it for me haha. nice inkwork!

I love this drawing! You got their likenesses very well, even with the thick lines and high contrast. Awesome job.

Thanks. I slaved over Sherlock's face. Watson's too, actually, but I didn't have to redraw it as many times.

+5 to dexterity.
I'm glad you like it, since you're the reason I even bothered. Otherwise I would have gotten bored and stopped way before it was done.
New wallpaper FTW.
