I've been watching Defunctland's ongoing Jim Henson mini-series and alongside making my love for The Muppets even more clear, I've grown a newfound appreciation for Sesame Street thanks to it.

after doing a lot of looking up on the Muppet Wiki (which has some batshit crazy articles BTW), I remembered this bizarre childhood memory of a British Sesame Street spin-off called Sesame Tree which despite having the same logo had none of the iconic Sesame characters - not even Elmo (which is rather strange since the characters still appeared on merchandise over here, which was why it was so surreal to young me - a logo and style with characters that don't belong I guess)
