Director's Commentary: Yes, I do want more credits to go to Specialists rather than being ‘sidekicks’. Pretty much after WC S4, Specialists are ‘useless’ from here on out. For example, in S8E16, u might as well say Sparx ONLY cares about fairies and witches ‘living in harmony’. Even the Sparx Festival hosted by Alfea didn’t invite the Red Fountain boys. Again, after S4, magic is emphasized WAY too much as the ‘head honcho’. Thus, when I eventually get to focus on the Specialists, I want to give them an honourable story or history that’s worthy of being at least the same level as the faires and witches. I mean the top 3 Magix college included them and thus, they should somewhat be special as well. This is why I created FLM End-of-CH 4 bonus and give them 3 stages, just like fairies and witches. This is why I thought of them as knights, like ppl who value loyalty, honor, protecting the weak and innocent, and so on. Compared to fairies and witches, I want the Specialists to be more ‘traditional’ in order to ‘keep the balance’. Hmmm, wonder if u guys could recognize who the person who’s knighting the boy could be :3
