Alternative/Extra/Deleted Scene: Before the ‘approval circle ceremony’ for Bloom in this scene, we would have been able to see each HL (at least the ones who are still here) raise one of their hands and close their eyes as a sign of approval with magic (In exception to Sky who has somewhat a ‘light blue’ aura. This is possible b/c he’s a HL), hence why u see each respective HL’s colored flames all around Bloom. There’s even a few more minor scenes of Bloom observing this ‘approval circle’ and noticed a light green and pink flames first, which represents Flora’s and Duman’s approval (due to winning PvP duel). All the other ‘approval flames’ come in due to the HLs’ presence and a sign of respect for Bloom. Also, funny enough, Ogron didn’t really have a ‘long’ speech, at least not like this initially. At this point in the drawing stage, I kind of forgot why it wasn’t like this in the 1st place

Director's Commentary: OMG, we hit 100+ pages…and we barely made it halfway throughout this story!!! Well…I’m gonna have doozy with uploading all this later on lol. Actually, I don’t really have an official name of what Bloom is standing on…maybe ‘Approval Circle’ lol idk. Anyways, the markings on this were inspired by the astral meeting’s floor markings when Faragonda called some of the future representatives of the Council of Sovereigns in WC S5E16. I LOVE whatever this room is and wish this was used more often. This only debuts in that particular episode. For the ‘colorful flames’ all around Bloom are actually the HLs’ speech bubbles’ colors approving and accepting Bloom into Crimson Flare. The reason why each HL is represented by a ‘flame’ is, again, like Sky said in FLM CH 9, fire is “first energy of the magic universe” hence it’s importance compared to the other basic magic types. CONGRATS, Bloom got Gantlos’s and Ogron’s favours, which means she’s officially part of Crimson Flare!!!

*Bloom’s response*…does Bloom ‘literally’ want to ‘die’ saying a response like that?!?

Remember how she keeps using the “kill” word at the beg of the 2nd duel? At that time, she said this too casually. Now, she knows what’s more at stake with what “kill” really meant and thus, has matured a little bit more from that experience. Also, again, it’s really none of Ogron’s, or the HLs’, business of Bloom’s origins.

*…path of a Fairy*…Considering FLM End-of-CH 4 bonus, isn’t the HLs ‘labelling’ Bloom a little bit too fast? What happens if she wants to be a witch or Specialist or something else entirely?

This is why we had a trial in the 1st place to evaluate Bloom. The reason why Bloom had to gain favours from all the HLs is to be able to see more of her powers and abilities as much as possible, such as given situations by HLs and so on. This is why Valtor strongly hinted to Bloom that EVERY action she does will be noted by the HLs (FLM CH 8). Also, don’t forget, the HLs are way more experienced than Bloom, so they know their stuff. Based on this trial’s results, the HLs have concluded Bloom is fit to be a Fairy. Hey, is better to have an identity in Crimson Flare than none at all. Plus, IF Bloom desires to be something else, she can always change this when she gains more titles during her time here in Crimson Flare.

Since it’s obvious Ogron and Gantlos approve of Bloom at this point, why did Ogron accept Bloom’s answer?

Again, Ogron tried to trick Bloom with the last question. Technically, Bloom didn’t really have to answer this question b/c it’s really ‘none of their business as long as u obey the rules in Crimson Flare’. Since it didn’t work, this is why he was silent b/c he was surprised by her answer. Don’t forget, Ogron, and WoBC for this matter, are also hiding stuff from the others as well mainly due to their Earth origins as Valtor pointed out in FLM CH 9. Hint: this is one of the reasons why Valtor talked with each WoBC during Bloom’s own ‘exploration’ in Crimson Flare starting from FLM CH 5. In a way, he’s still looking out for Bloom.

In an alternative scenario, what would have happened if Bloom actually said her Earth origins to HLs?

Definitely will result in MAJOR trouble and issues! Let’s just say even Valtor can’t save her if this ever did happen. That’s why I did what I did for Bloom for this page, which shows she’s learning and considering her actions and doings carefully.
