Some people do it as a hobby or to prove the bible isn't as pleasant as some people make it out to be. Criticism isn't the same thing as insulting, though some critics are very blunt and border on being angry atheists.

The bible is revered as the most important book in human history, which baffles me a bit. I would've thought the discovery of vaccines would've been placed higher. *Shrugs* Oh people. Anyway, it's kinda hilarious how people think saying anything against the bible is blasphemy or hate speech.

Because I get into debates with my relatives on religion at least once or twice a week, I decided to start reading the bible to see what the "hubub" is and counter some bullshit that comes in my way. My family doesn't approve of my atheism at all, even after I explained that I still respect their beliefs.
