could you release the psd for these? I love them and would like to make my own versions for lesser known adobe products such as story. also i thought about actually creating some app icons in this style, to go along with these. love what you did!

I've got Photoshop CS5 Extended. But have not installed it yet. Is there a big differences?

You might as well install it and see for yourself. If you're going from CS4 to CS5 then you won't see huge differences, but a jump from any other version should be noticeable.

I have CS4 installed now. If I want to install CS5 I should remove CS4 first. I'm not sure that I can install CS5 over CS4 without problems. I think such "upgrading" will left a lot of traces in registry. I want to wait a bit and when I will reinstall the whole Windows (I think in 2 months) I'll install CS5 on a fresh system.

You could install it separately to another folder, like "Adobe CS5." That's what I did, worked fine. Of course soon after I uninstalled CS4 so I'm not entirely sure that it'll work right for you

Yes, but I do not want to have CS4 and CS5 installed together. I'll wait a bit and when I'll have a free time to reinstall the whole system, I will install it on a fresh Windows.

Wow, can you possibly make some for the other Adobe programs like Illustrator, After Effects, etc.. ?
If not, it's alright. I'll still watch you.
These icons are awesome ;D Any way I could have the .psd file (if you made it in Photoshop)?

I'm planning on it
I just wanted to get this set out of the way and figure out a theme.

This is a nice set, though..
If I feel like it, I might step in and make a few icons myself..
Though, teachers are strict, and school is tough.. :/

Do you mean how do you change the icons on your computer or how to convert the PNGs to ICOs?

How do change them. I mean, I can change the folder icons easily, but I can't change the icon to a specific file. I also hse Vista.

Get IconPackager or use one of these ridiculous hard methods: [link]

Yeah I got stuck too. I have the .ico, and I have a .tiff ... now what? sorry, can be technologically challenged at times.

Go to the Properties of a file and if there's a Customize tab, that's where you can select a different icon. If you want something that will change all icons of the same filetype across your computer, you'll need something like IconPackager.

It would be great if u could make an icon for the application as well since the cs5 one sucks so much

I might make that a separate set of icons after I finish with Photoshop. I plan to do a set for Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, and maybe more.
