I got the pics. from Gamespot and they have a compare and contrast article about the graphics of the PS3 vs the 360. You would think the PS3 would have the better graphics, but see for yourself. For more pics. go to gamespot web site. I’ll try and put a link at the end of this message.Looking at this I see that the textures in Madden NFL 07 the 360’s is sharper and more detailed than the PS3. The 360 has dynamic shadows and the PS3 Don’t.
I see that in NFS Carbon the PS3 is darker and the trees are a little more brushed out. The Car is more like a mirror than a shiny gloss look like the 360’s NFS Carbon.
In the Tony Hawk 8 the PS3 has a blinding light effect and the 360’s is just fine. The textures are sharper in the 360 version, but I didn’t put up the pic.
The PS3 just doesn't look like it’s worth $200 more than the 360.

you know because of the ps3s cell processor, games dont come out with the graphics you think they would, they get downscaled

One more thing, You can't fake Frame Rate on a game and that's one thing they said was the 360 had better frame rate when playing and better load times.

I didn't know they had a setting on the TV that makes your textures come in sharper on your game and gives it faster load time and better frame rate! Holy Cow!

I usually don't trust pics like that. I've seen the same thing, but they use images to make the XBOX look bad. I can say that those images could have been altered by changing the image settings on a TV. Don't get me wrong, I don't support the PS3, but I would have to base my judgement on a more credible source (ex. Two of the same TV's with identical settings, with a PS3 on one and an XBOX360 on the other, running at the same time.)

That's what they did. They had a PS3 and Xbox 360 set up on the same TV and didn't touch the settings.
They said when they played the NFL 07 they had to go back and make shure they had the same time of day and weather settings as the game on the 360, because of the shadows on the 360 game and the PS3 didn't have any shadows at all.
Did you go to the link I gave. I thought it was a fair set up and judging.
