Description
First Lion King picture I've ever done myself from scratch. Made the grass, tree and cloud brushes, drew the background, sketched/scanned/coloured the lions, made glowiness (a recently aquired talent). It's not amazing, but I'm quite chuffed as it's original, and I've put my studies to use!

Anyway this is the first in a collection called Fireflies, which will be a selection of Simba/Nala evening/night scenes, all in some way involving fireflies.

This one, Explorers, is Simba and Nala sneaking out, and exploring at night for the first time; following a path lit by fireflies
