i'm the one who 'poisoned' my family (as they like to say). My moim likes Matsujun, by brother Ohno and my sister Nino ^-^ Although my mom won't watch more dramas or anything ; my brother comes into my room every night asking what we will watch and my sister tries to get together (and fails) to watch stuff But yeah, I like Nino's sharp tongue ^^

Sugoi!xD You were able to get your family hooked on Arashi, even your brother xD Mine is always pissed at me for watching Arashi all the time, even my dad scolded me for having too much DL Japanese files in the laptop,, he had to give me an external hard drive, but sadly it has not enough memory to put every Arashi file I have >.<

it's love-hate relationship for them XD (well except my sister). My family has grown to bear it...i got my mom saying 'ittadakimsu' before eating...she knows other various Japanese words but only ever uses that, 'oishii', 'arigatou' ;or aiba' for everything, regardless if it makes sense or not XD Have you seen Arashi ni Shiyagare? My mom says Aiba's name like the announcer XD It's a fun word for her for some reason My mom even stole my mini Matsujun poster to hang at work XDD her co-workers make fun of her because he was only like, 17 in the pic XDD I had a 1TB harddrive but it broke so we exchanged it for a 1.5TB XD i'll need a new one soon though because it's 3/4 full they arent slowing down anytime soon XDD

that'd be awesome XDD i know she forced me to look up wallpapers and send them to her work email last time i visited Matsujun was on her wall and computer XD She gets Aiba and Sho confused for some reason She thinks Nino is cute ^^

i bought mine once i couldn't store anymore on my computer. I was part of Aibakaland at the time but eventually got an LJ,z which opened up my world to their shows/songs/dramas. So i needed something to hold it all lol XD

i do all the time XDD i have the 5x10 solos on my MP3 player so i watch them on break, especially Sho's and Aiba's xD I have no clue if it's the hair :s my brother sometimes gets them confused too and I don't know why XDD

yeah i translate but not a lot because i am still learning (self-taught) so i have a lot of mistakes or else i am not confident enough to post it XD i have a friend in Japan who edits for me when i post though, so that helps ^^ I also sub here and there but because i can't translate well enough i can't sub what i want (like older dramas no one is picking up...). I am part of a subbing community and am subbing the making of to Smile, but it';s taking a while because life is hectic lol XD I don;t think i had much to say on mine for a bit, but then i got completely obsessed XD Plus i post my Arashi-related (and sometimes not) art there So now i have over 100 entries and i don't know how i did that XD

i could only do that to begin with too XD I actually started about 5 years ago when i was into Ayumi Hamasaki...i'd try to translate lyrics Only recently have i started becoming serious ^^ So as of right now i can pretty much watch their new show weekly and get the gist of it and somewhat enjoy it, although i will definitely dl the subs when they are out XD

yep ^^ that's the one ^^ ahhh it's already been a year since that came out

yeah, half Filipino, half Japanese. Although the story is that he has never been to the Philippines and was born in Japan, so although he looks foreign in appearance he is purely Japanese in his upbringing, which is probably why he doesn't speak Tagalog >< I always love when they speak other languages, so it would have been awesome to hear some Tagalog ^^

I have subbed a commercial or two, although based on someone elses translations They are download-able through my LJ ^^

^^ no prob ^^ i love meeting new Arashi buddies lol XD although i have been on DA for a while i never knew much people outside of Canada...Arashi has helped me become friends with people around the world 8D

yeah, i just turned 19 last month ^^ and i only got into subbing recently ; i actually requested a translation for a older nino drama that's never been subbed so i hope something comes out of that ^^ i already have all the raw files, just need a translation XD I didn't watch beyond the first episode because i didn't understand much You can call me whatever, i'm open to anything ^^

ah, no, it's a tv series,, How I Met Your Mother, just finished its 5th season. It's a very hilarious show, you won't watching regret it, swear ^^ hehe It's thanks to that show that I've noticed how nice Canadians are (if you'll watch it please don't be mad at Barney Stinson, he is a bit of an ass xD)

when we had cable there really wasn't much we watched. And because my interest lies in Japan there wasn't much i was interested in when it came to Canadian television XD

lol i am actually kind of shy in real life XDD so i don't talk back to the customers or voice what i really want to say to some of them there are some cashiers that the customers really do not like at all because they will voice their opinions. But they are older and can get away with it i think. Because i am so young they treat me kind of bad sometimes and i can't say anything or else i'll make it worse There's a bit of prejudice there

a lot of my co-workers are Filipino. We even have Filipino newsletters ^^ called 'the Filipino News' i think....one of my friends said she was forced to move here and she misses the Philippines but her family insisted it was better here...On a particularly dead day we talked about the difference in our cultures and some stuff she has a hard time understanding in English ^^ I celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, but not so much anymore. It's more something you do as a kid but grow out of. My family is Mennonite so we used to get together for a big dinner but not anymore since my great grandma dies a year or two ago. On those holidays we just have more to eat then usual XD Otherwise, they are normal days

two cable providers have NHK but Arashi would only be on Kouhaku XD maybe.....plus it's satelllite and more expensive so we won't even bother XD maybe once we get our big screen tv XD
